YouTube
Look up the YouTube connector: its actions in alphabetical order, and the sign-in methods of a YouTube connection.
The YouTube connector lets a workflow search videos, channels, and playlists, and list comments. In the Add node panel, it's in the Connector category, under YouTube. How connector nodes work describes how a connector node is set up.
This page lists what the connector can do in Maestro Automate. Select an action to see how to configure it.
Actions
Each action is a node that does one thing in YouTube.
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Get Channel by Username or Handle | Retrieve a YouTube channel using a username or handle. |
| Insert Record | Insert a new record in YouTube. |
| List All Comments | Retrieve comments from a video or channel on YouTube. |
| List All Playlists of a Channel | Retrieve all playlists associated with a YouTube channel. |
| List All Videos of a Playlist | Retrieve all videos from a specified YouTube playlist. |
| List Records | List records in YouTube. |
| Search Channels | Search for YouTube channels based on specific criteria. |
| Search Playlists | Search for playlists on YouTube based on specified criteria. |
| Search Videos | Search for videos on YouTube based on specified criteria. |
Connection
A YouTube node signs in through a connection. Create a connection describes how to create one from the node. On the Connect to page, you sign in with this method:
| Sign-in method | What you need |
|---|---|
| OAuth 2.0 | Client ID; Client secret. |
YouTube authentication in the Integration Service guide describes the full connection setup, including prerequisites and advanced settings.
