Hootsuite
Look up the Hootsuite connector: its actions in alphabetical order, and the sign-in methods of a Hootsuite connection.
The Hootsuite connector lets a workflow schedule social media messages and upload media. In the Add node panel, it's in the Connector category, under Hootsuite. How connector nodes work describes how a connector node is set up.
This page lists what the connector can do in Maestro Automate. Select an action to see how to configure it.
Actions
Each action is a node that does one thing in Hootsuite.
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Delete Record | Deletes a record in Hootsuite. |
| Get Media Upload Status | Retrieve the status of media uploads in Hootsuite. |
| Get My Information | Retrieve authenticated user's information from Hootsuite. |
| Get Record | Retrieves a record in Hootsuite. |
| Insert Record | Insert a new record in Hootsuite. |
| List My Organizations | Retrieve a list of organizations associated with the authenticated user in Hootsuite. |
| List My Social Profiles | Retrieve a list of the authenticated user's social profiles in Hootsuite. |
| List Records | List records in Hootsuite. |
| Schedule Message | Schedule messages in Hootsuite. |
| Update Record | Updates a record in Hootsuite. |

Connection
A Hootsuite node signs in through a connection. Create a connection describes how to create one from the node. On the Connect to page, choose one of these sign-in methods:
| Sign-in method | What you need |
|---|---|
| OAuth 2.0 Authorization code | Your Hootsuite account's email and password. |
| Bring your own OAuth 2.0 app | Client ID and client secret. |
Hootsuite authentication in the Integration Service guide describes the full connection setup, including prerequisites and advanced settings.
