Pinecone
Look up the Pinecone connector: its actions in alphabetical order, and the sign-in methods of a Pinecone connection.
The Pinecone connector lets a workflow store embeddings and query them by similarity. In the Add node panel, it's in the Connector category, under Pinecone. How connector nodes work describes how a connector node is set up.
This page lists what the connector can do in Maestro Automate. Select an action to see how to configure it.
Actions
Each action is a node that does one thing in Pinecone.
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Query Embeddings | Search embeddings in a Pinecone index to retrieve IDs of similar items with similarity scores. |
| Upsert Embeddings | Write or update embeddings (vectors) in a Pinecone index, overwriting existing values if necessary. |
Connection
A Pinecone node signs in through a connection. Create a connection describes how to create one from the node. On the Connect to page, you sign in with this method:
| Sign-in method | What you need |
|---|---|
| API Key | An Environment which can be selected from a drop-down list in the authentication page; an API Key associated with your account; an Index name associated with your account. |
Pinecone authentication in the Integration Service guide describes the full connection setup, including prerequisites and advanced settings.
