SAP OData
Look up the SAP OData connector: its actions and events in alphabetical order, and the sign-in methods of an SAP OData connection.
The SAP OData connector lets a workflow list the records of SAP entities, such as those in SAP S/4HANA, through Open Data Protocol (OData) services. In the Add node panel, it's in the Connector category, under SAP OData. How connector nodes work describes how a connector node is set up.
This page lists what the connector can do in Maestro Automate. Select an action to see how to configure it.
Actions
Each action is a node that does one thing in SAP OData.
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Delete Record | Delete a record in SAP OData. |
| Get Record | Retrieve a record in SAP OData. |
| Insert Record | Insert a new record in SAP OData. |
| List All Entity Records | List all records for a specified entity using SAP OData services. |
| Update Record | Update a record in SAP OData. |
Connection
A SAP OData node signs in through a connection. Create a connection describes how to create one from the node. On the Connect to page, choose one of these sign-in methods:
| Sign-in method | What you need |
|---|---|
| Username and password | The URL of your SAP system, the OData service, such as API_BUSINESS_PARTNER, and the username and password of your SAP account. For SAP Cloud for Customer, keep the service set to NA. |
In SAP S/4HANA, the OData service must be enabled.
SAP OData authentication in the Integration Service guide describes the full connection setup, including prerequisites and advanced settings.
