Freshdesk
Look up the Freshdesk connector: its actions and events in alphabetical order, and the sign-in methods of a Freshdesk connection.
The Freshdesk connector lets a workflow create and update tickets, and find contacts, agents, and companies. In the Add node panel, it's in the Connector category, under Freshdesk. How connector nodes work describes how a connector node is set up.
This page lists what the connector can do in Maestro Automate. Select an action or event to see how to configure it.
Actions
Each action is a node that does one thing in Freshdesk.
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Create Contact | Create a new contact in Freshdesk. |
| Create Ticket | Create a new ticket in Freshdesk. |
| Delete Record | Deletes a record in Freshdesk. |
| Find Agents by Name or Email | Locate agents in Freshdesk using their email address or name. |
| Find Company | Locate a company by name in Freshdesk. |
| Find Contacts | Search for contacts in Freshdesk using email or name. |
| Get Record | Retrieves a record in Freshdesk. |
| Insert Record | Insert a new record in Freshdesk. |
| List All Records | List all records in Freshdesk. |

| Search Tickets | Search for tickets using specific queries in Freshdesk. |
| Update Ticket | Update a ticket in Freshdesk. |
Events
Each event can start a workflow, as a Connector trigger, or pause a run until it happens, as a Connector event. In the connector's list, events have the WAIT tag.
| Event | What it does |
|---|---|
| Record Created | Triggers when a new record is created. |
| Record Updated | Triggers when an existing record is updated. |
| Ticket Raised | Trigger automation when a new ticket is created in Freshdesk. |
| Ticket Updated | Trigger actions when an existing ticket is updated in Freshdesk. |
Connection
A Freshdesk node signs in through a connection. Create a connection describes how to create one from the node. On the Connect to page, you sign in with this method:
| Sign-in method | What you need |
|---|---|
| API Key | API Key; Domain. |
Freshdesk authentication in the Integration Service guide describes the full connection setup, including prerequisites and advanced settings.
