PagerDuty
Look up the PagerDuty connector: its actions and events in alphabetical order, and the sign-in methods of a PagerDuty connection.
The PagerDuty connector lets a workflow create and manage incidents, incident notes, and users. In the Add node panel, it's in the Connector category, under PagerDuty. How connector nodes work describes how a connector node is set up.
This page lists what the connector can do in Maestro Automate. Select an action or event to see how to configure it.
Actions
Each action is a node that does one thing in PagerDuty.
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Add Note to Incident | Add a note to an incident in PagerDuty. |
| Create Incident | Create an incident in PagerDuty. |
| Create User | Create a user in PagerDuty. |
| Delete Record | Deletes a record in PagerDuty. |
| Delete User | Delete a user by ID in PagerDuty. |
| Get Incident | Retrieve incident details from PagerDuty. |
| Get Incident Notes | Retrieve notes for a specific incident ID in PagerDuty. |
| Get Record | Retrieves a record in PagerDuty. |
| Get Schedule | Retrieve a schedule by name from PagerDuty. |
| Insert Record | Insert a new record in PagerDuty. |
| List All Records | List all records in PagerDuty. |
| Replace Record | Replace a record in PagerDuty. |
| Search Incidents | Search for existing incidents in PagerDuty. |
| Search for Notifications | Search for notifications in PagerDuty. |
| Send an Event | Send a trigger event to report or update a problem in PagerDuty. |
| Update Incident | Update an incident in PagerDuty. |
Events
Each event can start a workflow, as a Connector trigger, or pause a run until it happens, as a Connector event. In the connector's list, events have the WAIT tag.
| Event | What it does |
|---|---|
| Incident Created | Trigger actions when an incident is created in PagerDuty. |
| Notification Received | Trigger actions when a notification is received in PagerDuty. |
Connection
A PagerDuty node signs in through a connection. Create a connection describes how to create one from the node. On the Connect to page, choose one of these sign-in methods:
| Sign-in method | What you need |
|---|---|
| For OAuth 2.0 | Your PagerDuty username and password. |
| For API key | An API key. |
PagerDuty authentication in the Integration Service guide describes the full connection setup, including prerequisites and advanced settings.
