Database Hub
Look up the Database Hub connector: its actions and events in alphabetical order, and the sign-in methods of a Database Hub connection.
The Database Hub connector lets a workflow read and write rows, and run queries, on SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Redshift, and Databricks. In the Add node panel, it's in the Connector category, under Database Hub. How connector nodes work describes how a connector node is set up.
This page lists what the connector can do in Maestro Automate. Select an action or event to see how to configure it.
Actions
Each action is a node that does one thing in Database Hub.
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Delete Record | Deletes a row from the specified table for supported JDBC databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Redshift, Databricks). |
| Execute Query Synchronously | Execute any valid SQL query on supported JDBC databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Redshift, Databricks). |
| Get Record | Reads a specific row by ID from the specified table for supported JDBC databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Redshift, Databricks). |
| Insert Record | Inserts a new row into the specified table for supported JDBC databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Redshift, Databricks). |
| List Records | Reads rows from the specified table for supported JDBC databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Redshift, Databricks) with filtering and pagination support. |
| Replace Record | Updates a row in the specified table for supported JDBC databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Redshift, Databricks). |
Events
Each event can start a workflow, as a Connector trigger, or pause a run until it happens, as a Connector event. In the connector's list, events have the WAIT tag.
| Event | What it does |
|---|---|
| Record Created | Trigger when a new record is added in Database Hub. |
| Record Updated | Trigger when a record is updated in Database Hub. |
Connection
A Database Hub node signs in through a connection. Create a connection describes how to create one from the node. On the Connect to page, you sign in with this method:
| Sign-in method | What you need |
|---|---|
| Username and Password | SQL Server / PostgreSQL / Amazon Redshift * Database host * Username * Password * Database and schema; Oracle * Database host * Username * Password * Service * Schema; Databricks. |
Database Hub authentication in the Integration Service guide describes the full connection setup, including prerequisites and advanced settings.
