Twilio
Look up the Twilio connector: its actions and events in alphabetical order, and the sign-in methods of a Twilio connection.
The Twilio connector lets a workflow send text and WhatsApp messages, and make voice calls. In the Add node panel, it's in the Connector category, under Twilio. How connector nodes work describes how a connector node is set up.
This page lists what the connector can do in Maestro Automate. Select an action or event to see how to configure it.
Actions
Each action is a node that does one thing in Twilio.
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Delete Record | Deletes a record in Twilio. |
| Get Record | Retrieves a record in Twilio. |
| Insert Record | Insert a new record in Twilio. |
| List All Records | List all records in Twilio. |
| List Available Local Numbers | Retrieve a list of available local phone numbers in Twilio. |
| List Available Mobile Phone Numbers | Retrieve a list of available mobile phone numbers in Twilio. |
| List Available Toll-Free Phone Numbers | Retrieve a list of available toll-free phone numbers in Twilio. |
| Make a Call | Initiate a voice call to a phone number using Twilio. |
| Replace Record | Replace a record in Twilio. |
| Send Message | Send an SMS to a phone number using Twilio. |
| Send WhatsApp Message | Send a WhatsApp message to a phone number using Twilio. |
Events
Each event can start a workflow, as a Connector trigger, or pause a run until it happens, as a Connector event. In the connector's list, events have the WAIT tag.
| Event | What it does |
|---|---|
| Account Created | Trigger automation when a new account is created in Twilio. |
| Account Updated | Trigger when an existing account is updated in Twilio. |
| Call Made | Trigger actions when a call is made via Twilio. |
| Message Created | Trigger automation when a new message is created in Twilio. |
| Record Created | Triggers when you add a new record. |
| Record Deleted | Triggers when an existing record was deleted. |
| Record Updated | Triggers when an existing record was updated. |
Connection
A Twilio node signs in through a connection. Create a connection describes how to create one from the node. On the Connect to page, you sign in with this method:
| Sign-in method | What you need |
|---|---|
| Access Token | The phone number registered in your Twilio account; Specify whether the instance is created using Test Credentials; Your Account SID - This is the unique 34 character ID that represents the parent of this account; Your Auth Token. |
Twilio authentication in the Integration Service guide describes the full connection setup, including prerequisites and advanced settings.
