Expensify
Look up the Expensify connector: its actions and events in alphabetical order, and the sign-in methods of an Expensify connection.
The Expensify connector lets a workflow create expenses and expense reports, and reimburse reports. In the Add node panel, it's in the Connector category, under Expensify. How connector nodes work describes how a connector node is set up.
This page lists what the connector can do in Maestro Automate. Select an action or event to see how to configure it.
Actions
Each action is a node that does one thing in Expensify.
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Create Expense | Create an expense in an employee’s account as a policy and domain admin in Expensify. |
| Create Expense Report | Create an expense report in Expensify as a policy and domain admin with a single expense. |
| Download Report | Download reports from Expensify using date filters. |

Events
Each event can start a workflow, as a Connector trigger, or pause a run until it happens, as a Connector event. In the connector's list, events have the WAIT tag.
| Event | What it does |
|---|---|
| Expense Report Approved | Trigger when an expense report is approved in Expensify. |
| Expense Report Closed | Trigger when an expense report is closed in Expensify. |
| Expense Report Created | Trigger when a new expense report is created in Expensify. |
| Expense Report Submitted | Trigger when an expense report is submitted with status processing in Expensify. |

Connection
An Expensify node signs in through a connection. Create a connection describes how to create one from the node. On the Connect to page, you sign in with this method:
| Sign-in method | What you need |
|---|---|
| Credentials | Partner User ID; Partner User Secret. |
Expensify authentication in the Integration Service guide describes the full connection setup, including prerequisites and advanced settings.
