SAP BAPI
Look up the SAP BAPI connector: its actions in alphabetical order, and the sign-in methods of an SAP BAPI connection.
The SAP BAPI connector lets a workflow call SAP business objects through BAPIs. In the Add node panel, it's in the Connector category, under SAP BAPI. How connector nodes work describes how a connector node is set up.
This page lists what the connector can do in Maestro Automate. Select an action to see how to configure it.
Actions
Each action is a node that does one thing in SAP BAPI.
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Execute BAPI/RFC | Configure and execute a BAPI or RFC in SAP. |
Connection
An SAP BAPI node signs in through a connection. Create a connection describes how to create one from the node. On the Connect to page, you sign in with this method:
| Sign-in method | What you need |
|---|---|
| Username and Password | Hostname – The hostname of the SAP application server; Client – The client in the SAP system into which to log in; Instance number – The SAP system's instance or system number; Username; Password; Group/Server field represents your Hostname; Instance No. represents your instance number; SID represents your username; SID Password represents your password; Select Logon to identify the Client. |
SAP BAPI authentication in the Integration Service guide describes the full connection setup, including prerequisites and advanced settings.
