Microsoft Vision
Look up the Microsoft Vision connector: its actions in alphabetical order, and the sign-in methods of a Microsoft Vision connection.
The Microsoft Vision connector lets a workflow analyze, describe, and tag images, and read text in them. In the Add node panel, it's in the Connector category, under Microsoft Vision. How connector nodes work describes how a connector node is set up.
This page lists what the connector can do in Maestro Automate. Select an action to see how to configure it.
Actions
Each action is a node that does one thing in Microsoft Vision.
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Analyze Image | Extract visual features from images using Microsoft Vision, supporting formats like JPEG, PNG, GIF, and BMP. |
| Describe Image | Generate human-readable descriptions of images using Microsoft Vision. |
| Detect Objects | Perform object detection on images using Microsoft Vision. |
| Get Area of Interest | Retrieve a bounding box around the most important area of an image using Microsoft Vision. |
| Get Read Results | Retrieve read results from a Microsoft Vision operation using an operation ID. |
| Get Thumbnail | Generate a thumbnail image with specified dimensions using Microsoft Vision, analyzing and cropping based on the region of interest. |
| OCR | Extract text from images using Microsoft Vision OCR for formats like JPEG, PNG, GIF, or BMP. |
| Read Text | Extract text from multi-page, mixed language documents using Microsoft Vision, supporting various image formats. |
| Tag Image | Generate relevant tags for the content of an image using Microsoft Vision. |
Connection
A Microsoft Vision node signs in through a connection. Create a connection describes how to create one from the node. On the Connect to page, you sign in with this method:
| Sign-in method | What you need |
|---|---|
| Credentials | Subscription region; Subscription key. |
Microsoft Vision authentication in the Integration Service guide describes the full connection setup, including prerequisites and advanced settings.
