Mailchimp
Look up the Mailchimp connector: its actions and events in alphabetical order, and the sign-in methods of a Mailchimp connection.
The Mailchimp connector lets a workflow manage audiences, mailing lists, and email campaigns. In the Add node panel, it's in the Connector category, under Mailchimp. How connector nodes work describes how a connector node is set up.
This page lists what the connector can do in Maestro Automate. Select an action or event to see how to configure it.
Actions
Each action is a node that does one thing in Mailchimp.
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Add Subscriber | Add a subscriber to an existing audience in Mailchimp. |
| Create Audience | Create a new audience or list in Mailchimp. |
| Create Campaign | Create a draft campaign in Mailchimp. |
| Delete Record | Deletes a record in Mailchimp. |
| Get Audience | Retrieve an existing audience or list in Mailchimp. |
| Get Campaign Report | Retrieve report details for a specific sent campaign in Mailchimp. |
| Get Record | Retrieves a record in Mailchimp. |
| Get Subscriber | Retrieve information about an existing subscriber from Mailchimp. |
| Insert Record | Insert a new record in Mailchimp. |
| List Records | List records in Mailchimp. |
| Replace Record | Replace a record in Mailchimp. |
| Schedule Campaign | Schedule a Mailchimp campaign to be sent at a future date. |
| Search Campaigns | Search for campaigns using specified query terms in Mailchimp. |
| Search Subscribers | Search for list members across specific or all lists in a Mailchimp account. |
| Send Campaign | Send a marketing campaign using Mailchimp. |
| Send Test Email | Send a test email for a Mailchimp campaign. |
| Set Campaign Content | Configure the content of a campaign in Mailchimp. |
| Update Record | Updates a record in Mailchimp. |
| Update Subscriber | Update subscriber details in an existing Mailchimp audience. |
Events
Each event can start a workflow, as a Connector trigger, or pause a run until it happens, as a Connector event. In the connector's list, events have the WAIT tag.
| Event | What it does |
|---|---|
| Audience Created | Trigger when a new audience is created in Mailchimp. |
| Campaign Created | Trigger actions when a new campaign is created in Mailchimp. |
| Record Created | Triggers when you add a new record. |
Connection
A Mailchimp node signs in through a connection. Create a connection describes how to create one from the node. On the Connect to page, choose one of these sign-in methods:
| Sign-in method | What you need |
|---|---|
| OAuth 2.0 Authorization code | The email address and password associated with your Mailchimp account. |
| Bring your own OAuth 2.0 app | Client ID and client secret. |
Mailchimp authentication in the Integration Service guide describes the full connection setup, including prerequisites and advanced settings.
