Todoist
Look up the Todoist connector: its actions and events in alphabetical order, and the sign-in methods of a Todoist connection.
The Todoist connector lets a workflow create, update, and close tasks, and add comments to them. In the Add node panel, it's in the Connector category, under Todoist. How connector nodes work describes how a connector node is set up.
This page lists what the connector can do in Maestro Automate. Select an action or event to see how to configure it.
Actions
Each action is a node that does one thing in Todoist.
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Add Comment to a Task | Add a comment to a task or project in Todoist. |
| Close Task | Close a task in Todoist. |
| Create Task | Create a new task in Todoist. |
| Delete Record | Deletes a record in Todoist. |
| Get Record | Retrieves a record in Todoist. |
| Insert Record | Insert a new record in Todoist. |
| List All Records | List all records in Todoist. |
| List All Sections of a Project | Retrieve all sections of a project by name in Todoist. |
| Search Tasks | Search tasks in Todoist using keyword, priority, due date, and assignee. |
| Search Users | Search for users by email in Todoist. |
| Update Record | Updates a record in Todoist. |
| Update Task | Update a task in Todoist. |
Events
Each event can start a workflow, as a Connector trigger, or pause a run until it happens, as a Connector event. In the connector's list, events have the WAIT tag.
| Event | What it does |
|---|---|
| Record Created | Triggers when a new record is created. |
| Record Updated | Triggers when an existing record is updated. |
| Task Closed | Trigger an action when a task is closed in Todoist. |
| Task Created | Trigger automation when a new task is created in Todoist. |
| Task Updated | Trigger when a task is updated in Todoist. |
Connection
A Todoist node signs in through a connection. Create a connection describes how to create one from the node. On the Connect to page, you sign in with this method:
| Sign-in method | What you need |
|---|---|
| API Key | API Key. |
Todoist authentication in the Integration Service guide describes the full connection setup, including prerequisites and advanced settings.
