uip tm project-permissions
Syntax and options for `uip tm project-permissions`, which lists the Test Manager permissions the signed-in account holds on a project.
uip tm project-permissions reports the Test Manager permission names that the signed-in account holds on a project. Use it to check access before a write, or to compare your permissions with what a refused operation needs.
Synopsis
uip tm project-permissions get (--project-key <key> | --project-id <id>)
uip tm project-permissions get (--project-key <key> | --project-id <id>)
All verbs honor the global options and the standard exit codes.
uip tm project-permissions get
Show the permission names that you hold on a project. The CLI has no mapping from operations to permissions, so it cannot name the permission a refused operation is missing. The command reports your own permissions only and has no option for another user.
The command itself needs Project.Read. An account that cannot read the project gets a 403 error here too, instead of an empty list.
Arguments
None.
Options
| Flag | Description |
|---|---|
--project-key <key> | Test Manager project key. One of --project-key or --project-id is required. Ignored if --project-id is also given. |
--project-id <id> | Test Manager project ID. Use instead of --project-key; wins if both are given. |
Example
uip tm project-permissions get --project-key DEMO
uip tm project-permissions get --project-key DEMO

Permissions lists the permission names you hold, and Count is their number. An empty Permissions array with Count 0 means you hold no permissions on the project.
