November 2026

November 2026 release notes for UiPath Platform Installer.

Release date: November 4, 2026

Enterprise STS channel on macOS

The Enterprise Short-Term Support (STS) channel is now available on macOS, alongside the Community and Preview channels. Each channel has its own installer package, available as a direct download. The Enterprise LTS channels are not available on macOS.

After installation, you can change the update channel from the command line, without reinstalling.

For more information, refer to Install on macOS and Update channels.

Product selection on macOS

The UiPath Installer window lets you select the products to install. Advanced configuration lets you change the installation folder or turn off automatic updates. You can install Assistant on its own, and add or remove products later from UiPath Installer in the Applications folder.

For more information, refer to Install on macOS.

Installation settings and channel policy on macOS

Configuration profiles support four new keys. Channel locks the update channel. InstallMode, InstallProducts, and TelemetryDisabled control how the installer package installs. The policy template archive now includes sample files for a macOS configuration profile.

For more information, refer to Configure policies on macOS.

Update notifications on macOS

When an update is ready, a window lists the products to update and lets you update now or later. On macOS, the final notification comes 5 minutes before the update starts. An unanswered notification postpones the update after 20 minutes, and updates wait while the screen is locked.

For more information, refer to Postpone an update.

Diagnostics archive on macOS

A diagnostics script collects the UiPath Platform Installer logs into a single archive on your Desktop, ready to send to UiPath support. If an installation fails, you can also select Collect Logs in the UiPath Installer window.

For more information, refer to Install on macOS.
