Solutions release notes

The Solutions interface introduces a redesigned deployment experience built around two surfaces. The experience was originally introduced in Studio Web for solution authors and is now also available in Orchestrator for tenant administrators managing deployments at scale. Both surfaces drive the same underlying flow; this release adds the Orchestrator surface.

Deployment workflow — All lifecycle operations on a solution package from Orchestrator now open a single, unified workflow shell with a consistent navigation rail, breadcrumb, and validation panel. The operation name, conditional steps, and read-only state adapt to the action; the shell itself does not change.

The following operations are available from Orchestrator:

The Deploy and Change version operations open on a Setup form where you confirm the package, version, deployment name, destination folder, and activation options. Edit configuration opens on a dedicated Edit configuration form. Uninstall and View logs do not include a setup step. From the Setup or Edit configuration form, you can run the operation directly or select Customize to open the resource explorer and configure individual components before proceeding.

Deployments grid — The Deployments tab in Solutions now provides a unified view of every deployment in the tenant. New columns include Stages (a visual progress indicator for deployment phases) and Last operation (the most recent operation type, status, and elapsed time). Row actions give quick access to Change version, Edit configuration, Uninstall, View logs, and Go to folder from a single location.

When deploying a solution, a Default Serverless template is now automatically attached to the target folder if one is not already present or inherited.

When installing or upgrading a solution with the Activate option enabled, the Last operation column in the Deployments table now shows the correct operation.

Previously, the column could show Activation Setup instead of Install (or Upgrade / downgrade) when activation setup was completed in the same session as the deployment. The column now consistently reflects the original operation regardless of whether activation setup was needed.

We removed the entry for Improved error details for failed solution deployments as it was not released as scheduled.
