Snowflake Cortex: two new authentication methods
The Snowflake Cortex connector now supports two additional authentication methods alongside the existing Programmatic Access Token: OAuth 2.0 Authorization code, which authenticates using a Snowflake security integration, and OAuth 2.0 Client credentials, which authenticates through a Microsoft Entra ID application using Snowflake External OAuth. Existing Programmatic Access Token connections are unaffected and require no changes. For details, see Snowflake Cortex authentication.
Microsoft Azure AI Foundry: invoke Foundry portal agents via the Responses API
The Microsoft Azure AI Foundry connector adds a new Invoke Agent activity that runs agents created in the Azure AI Foundry portal — a separate surface from the classic Assistants agents supported by the existing Execute the thread activity. Only agents of kind prompt and hosted are verified; workflow and external kinds are not yet confirmed to work. For details, see Invoke Agent.
Bug fixes
- Fixed an issue where the Microsoft Teams Send Channel Message and Reply to Channel Message activities failed with a deserialization error when the posted message included an @mention.
August 10, 2026
Added August 13, 2026: These updates were released on August 10, 2026 but were not included in the release notes at the time.
Microsoft OneDrive & SharePoint: reference a file or folder by URL in Maestro
Fields that reference an existing file or folder in Microsoft OneDrive or SharePoint — for example, File or folder to move in Move File or Folder, and the location field in Get File or Folder List — now have an Enter URL option in the menu that enables you to paste a URL directly, instead of browsing for the item or writing an expression.
Bug fixes
- Fixed an issue where the SAP OData connector's data requests could return XML instead of JSON on some SAP S/4HANA and SAP C4C systems, causing activities to fail or return incomplete data. The
$metadatacall is unaffected and continues to return XML.
