Automation Hub User Guide
Automation Hub supports three submission types, each routing your content to a different destination.
When you select Submit new in Automation Hub, a selection screen prompts you to choose the type of item you want to create. The submission type you choose determines where your content is routed and which idea flows are available to you.
The three submission types are described below.
An idea represents an automation opportunity for a process you work on or one you believe could be automated. After selecting Idea, you choose a sub-type: an employee-driven idea, a CoE-driven idea, a Citizen Developer automation, an Agentic AI idea, or any other custom idea flow created by the admin. Ideas are routed to the automation pipeline.
A change request is a request to modify an existing idea or automation already tracked in the system. Change requests are routed to the automation pipeline alongside the item they relate to.
A business process submission documents and governs a business process in your organization. Business process submissions are routed to the process repository, not the automation pipeline. For background on the process repository, see About the process repository.
For instructions on each submission type, see the relevant pages in this section.
